Getting started as a Brand
From your first campaign to your first batch of reviewed submissions.
For BrandsWhat Basevos is for Brands
Basevos connects you with a marketplace of Clippers who post your content to their own audiences. You set the budget, the rules, and the source material; Clippers do the distribution.
Launching a campaign
- 1Create a campaign — name it, set your content guidelines, and define a payout range for approved submissions.
- 2Upload your Content Kit: source videos Clippers can pull from, plus any usage guidelines or a Playbook covering brand voice, dos and don'ts, and required disclosures.
- 3Fund the campaign so Clippers can be paid as submissions are approved.
- 4Publish it — your campaign now appears as a Drop in the Clipper marketplace.
Reviewing submissions
As Clippers post and submit content, it lands in your Review Queue. Each submission shows the posted content, a link to the live post, and (once available) real performance numbers pulled from the post itself. You can approve, request changes, or reject with feedback.
Payouts
Approving a submission calculates its payout from your campaign's rate and the post's performance, clamped to the minimum/maximum range you set when creating the campaign. See How Payouts Work for the full calculation.
Speeding up content with AI clips
Instead of leaving Clippers to cut their own clips from a long source video, you can generate short, captioned, Ready-to-Post clips directly in your Content Kit — see Content Kit & AI Clips.
Campaign limits and Pro
Free accounts can run a limited number of active campaigns at once. Upgrading to a paid plan raises that limit — you'll see a prompt if you try to publish past it.
