What a Content Kit is

A Content Kit is the material attached to a campaign — source videos a Brand uploads, plus any guidelines Clippers should follow. It has two sides: Source Content (the raw uploads) and Ready to Post (finished clips Clippers can download and post directly).

How AI clip generation works

From a single source video, generating clips does three things automatically: transcribes the full video, picks out the strongest short-form moments based on that transcript, and renders each one as its own short, vertical, captioned clip — trimmed and cropped, ready to post.

• Each generated clip gets a Viral Potential score with Hook, Flow, Value, and Trend sub-scores and a short rationale — this is an AI estimate of short-form performance, not a guarantee.
• Captions are burned in automatically, with a choice of styles (classic, karaoke-style word highlighting, bold pop-in, and a few others).
• Clip length is configurable — under 30 seconds, or 30 to 60 — depending on the campaign's needs.

Editing a generated clip

Every Ready-to-Post clip can be re-edited without starting over: trim the start and end, change the crop and aspect ratio, and switch caption styles. Edits render a fresh version — your original stays untouched, so you can always go back.

Posting a clip

Download the clip, post it to your account, and submit the live link back through Basevos. If a clip's caption style, crop, or length isn't quite right for your audience, edit it first — there's no requirement to post a generated clip exactly as-is.

For Brands: keeping quality high

Generated clips are drafts, not final approvals — a Clipper can always cut their own version straight from the Source Content instead, and your campaign's Playbook or guidelines still apply to whichever route they take.
