5 ways to get more of your submissions approved
Practical, specific advice for Clippers — from reading a Content Kit's guidelines to what actually moves the needle on approval.
Clippers · September 2026 · 3 min readApproval isn't random — the Clippers who get the most submissions through tend to do the same handful of things consistently. Here's what actually helps.
1. Read the Content Kit's guidelines before you claim
Every campaign's Content Kit can include usage guidelines or a full Playbook — brand voice, required disclosures, dos and don'ts. Reading it before you post (not after a rejection) is the single biggest lever you have.
2. Don't post a Ready-to-Post clip blind
AI-generated clips are a strong starting point, not a guaranteed fit. If the crop, pacing, or caption style doesn't match how your audience actually engages, edit it first — it takes a minute and it's the difference between content that performs and content that just exists.
3. Submit the real, live link
Submissions get reviewed against the actual posted content, not a description of it. Double-check the link resolves to the right post before you submit.
4. Treat "changes requested" as useful, not a rejection
A Brand requesting changes means they want your submission to succeed — it's not a rejection with extra steps. Read the feedback, make the specific change asked for, and resubmit.
5. Update your performance numbers when asked
Payouts are calculated from real performance. If a Brand requests updated numbers on an approved submission, sharing them promptly is what keeps that payout accurate — and keeps you top of mind for their next campaign.
